New Patients
What you need to know
New Patients to the Clinic need to set aside about 45 minutes. During this time you will undergo a thorough consultation, where we will discuss your complaint and ask you relevant questions about your medical history. A detailed examination will follow (including orthopaedic and neurological tests) to discover the cause of your problem and rule out any contra-indications to treatment.
(On the rare occasion that further tests are required, we would refer you back to your General Practitioner or another relevant health care professional; we are able to refer privately for tests such as X-Ray, MRI or Ultrasound Scans if this route is preferred) Once you have been examined, you will be given a working diagnosis, which is clearly explained to you, and a treatment plan specific to your needs is discussed.
